My Diet Modification Plan
My Diet Modification Plan Currently, my diet consists of three daily meals. Each meal consists of a meat protein and two vegetables. My snacks during the day consist of a variety of nuts, fruit, and health bars. After participating in a nutrition course, I realized that my diet lacked adequate carbohydrates. To have a balanced diet I plan on changing one of my vegetables in each meal to a carbohydrate. Most carbohydrates will be healthy in choice. My previous diet was in an effort to lose weight however with a new pregnancy, my diet must accommodate my growing fetus. The diet must include important nutrients to ensure proper growth and development over the next few months. It is also important that there is a proper caloric intake, as the recommended increase during pregnancy is 300-500 calories.
